Just a friendly Hello from a New User,
I am not Android savvy, but I am technically savvy. I joined this forum to figure out how to get my Toshiba Thrive 7 AT1S0 Imm76D.01.000072022.
back to normal after "trusting" the ICS upgrade. I read many of the posts, watched YouTube videos enough to discover it was a mistake. I am not seeing my build number in any of the forums, instructions, ROM lists or examples. I know its not the latest and greatest Thrive because I have that wide power cord like the Ipad. I have bought a docking stand and it doesn't work with my tablet.
I am an IT Oracle trainer, mostly in the app development and corporate DW and BI arena. I need my tablet to run Kindle so I can study all my textbooks when I travel (doctorate student)
. This is very discouraging. I don't know whether to root, already learned factory restore will not do the trick. I only need to solve getting online, so I can use Kindle. Netflix used to work but stopped working. I can get online with a Hotspot but not my home wireless router. Why should I buy extra time
on a Hotspot at home. I am not encouraged with what I have read thus far. Anyway, Hello All.
Tech Lady (sigh)
