Grid reference from GPS

On Galaxy S2 I can download a map cache from Google Maps. GPS works even when there is no wi-fi or 3G. So I can see where I am and have 2G.

Is there an app that reads my GPS position then converts that to UK grid reference without needing wifi or 3G? I can then phone someone with my position.

I tried "Grid Reference" but that needs a 3G/Wifi signal.

Need something that can read the GPS and calculate its grid reference, say from database stored on SD card.
 
GPS Test (Plus) works without a data connection and can send a text message (no data) with the coordinates in OSGB Grid Ref :)
