Just got MeContacts and it gives you a grid of 24 squares to allocate to a contact, then you can add extra grids by the look of things. In the menu function it then gives you the ability to group sms, presumably to all the people on that particular grid. I don't know how many grids it will let you have cos I have only got the one on the go for my most used contacts. Its a freebie so give it a go!

To send a text to more than one person...
When you open the text app there is an option at the top of the page to write a new massage. Click on this and where the box at the top is to enter a number you can also type the name of the person. Simply write all the names in the box you wish to multi text (it links to your phone book so street the first few letters the persons name will pop up) just keep adding names till your done and press send.
