I was wondering if there was any way to get MMS group messaging working on my GS3 from Virgin Mobile. MMS group messaging is not supported on the stock app but mass texting is. I have used the information from all of the forums, especially this one (http://androidforums.com/htc-evo-v-4g/736110-textra-apn-setting-mms.html) but most of the posts regarding positive results involve rooting the phone (I dont want to do that). I have used a variety of 3rd party messaging apps (Textra, Handcent, GoSMS, ChompSMS) and I still have not been able to find a solution. I called my carrier and asked them about the APN settings but they said that they were unavailable because virgin mobile phones did not use SIM cards. This was weird because on my old HTC One V (also by virgin mobile) I was able to use group MMS messaging properly using the settings from the post linked above.
