Group Texting Question

I have GO SMS so I can send out a group text. That's not the problem. Everyone in my family except my husband and I have iphones. They always want to send the a group text which is fine however when I reply it just goes to the send not the rest of the group. Is there a setting or something I can do to reply to the entire group? I have tried a few different apps for group texting up it's always the same I can only reply to one person. I have my family as a group in my contacts but it's just not working. Do I have a setting that can be changed? I have groupme now but it sends my messages from a different phone number.
Is there any way to do the group conversation texting from the droid if someone else starts the text?

I use groupme but I actually use the app rather than having the text go to my message box. If everyone downloads that app, then you should be able to reply to everyone at once.

I'm not a big fan of groupme though. I prefer Google talk for group chats.

You can also try Whatsapp. My father in law uses this app to talk to his Iphone and Android friends.

So is this an app that my sisters will also have to download? I have the groupme but they are being babys about it becasue it changes my number when I sent ou tthe first message. You have to understand my sisters think if it's not an Iphone then it's not a phone. Which is funny because the one having the biggest fit has only had her phone for 6 months now.
