Group texting setup?

[wallstreet123456]

I am new to texting and wanted to know if it is possible to setup a group text on the android?
I am a coach of a soccer team and would like to send out a text message to each member of the team but only do it once rather than send each person one.
As I mentioned before I do not use texting often so I am not sure if I can do this.
Thanks,
Steven

Easiest way would be to create a group that includes everyone in your team. When you create a msg and choose the destination select the group instead each individual. The longer way would be checking the check mark boxes next to the names when you're choosing the recipients.

Thank you.

Now how do I create a group?

Thank you.

On your computer, go to Gmail, then Contacts.
There, in the left colum, you should see an option to create a group.
Then, when sending a text, just select that group.

this can't be done from the phone directly? Can't go to gmail from work.
