Grr....

Me thinks it is more convenient to use cards with NFC, instead of my phone. It works out very well for me until now, that way. Simply because I use more than one card and I prefer to choose per situation which one I use.
Unlocking my phone, opening an app an d make the decision there would be slower. And I need to bring my wallet everywhere anyway, for my ID and drivers license for one. Just my two cents :dunno:
 
You could pay with the Palm OS.
I'm using the same budgeting app that I had on the Palm.
Apple and Google, it isn't anything really new, just translated into newer media as tech has advanced.

You could transfer info by IR, and there was an app called Printboy that allowed you to print to an IR capable printer. HP had a couple of those. Our office used ACT.

I wouldn't mind having IR back. I could mess with the remote for the TV and Roku, I used to drive the Vulcan nuts with the Clie.
