Grrrr DUMMY!

Galaxy05

Lurker
Hey everybody, just wondering if anyone can help... I was setting my old Galaxy S2 up for my boyfriend and accidently restored factory settings :( and of course all my photos are now gone.. this may seem like a dumb question but is there anyway I can recover them????
Please help :(

Welcome to the forum Galaxy :wavey:

You can try a program like Recuva, but after a restore they may be gone for good.

I have used a similar program and was able to retrieve some, but not all of the lost photos so it's worth a try.

Good Luck !!!

Welcome to Android Forums!

Yeah, a factory reset is a bit cleaner for sure. Atma has a great idea, and hopefully that app can rebuild SOME of the lost photos. Good luck.

I am in the habit of occasionally copying all my photos and video to the PC... just in case. In case of a necessary (or accidental) factory reset or - worse - the phone is lost/stolen/destroyed for good and a remote wipe is the only option. Make it a beginning of the month thing, or day after payday thing, whatever. It's a great habit to get into. Just a friendly suggestion.

It's great to have you here :)
