Help gs2 showing no signal logo near battery at top?

Hi, ever since last night iv noticed that there is a circle with a line through it where my dignal bars are ment 2 be. I also noticed that data network automatically switches off and After awhile the signal bars come back but its only happened twice once today and once yesterday.... is this normal and is my phone ok...iv changed sims about 5 times in 4 weeks as i have 2 numbers?!

I have been experiencing this with my new GS2 and after speaking with Samsung helpline it has been declared faulty. I'm currently waiting for a replacement phone.
Whilst working most of the time the phone would intermittently say 'emergency calls only' and stay that way for a short time, then begin working normally again. The sim card was known to be good, and there is another phone at home which continued to get service on the same network as mine which only left the phone as the cause of the fault in my case.
