Ok, I had seidio cases for both my og evo 4g and then my evo 3d....they both came with a "soft" shell that wraps around the phone, and then a "hard" shell that wraps around both, that hooks onto the soft shell with 6 latches...on both, 2-3 of the 6 latches always broke off....now u might say if that happened with my og evo why the hell did I make the same purchase for my next phone? Well I got the seidio extended battery for my 3d and if I wanted a case for that, seidio was the only choice I had...
This time I'm trying to stick with oem sized batteries, and paid about $10 for an "acase" while I wait for my otterbox...it's a third of the price, same concept "hard over soft shell" but feels WAY more solid...seidio might make the best extended batteries (but they're expensive) but IMO their cases SUCK...
After being so indecisive about which case to get, I decided to try out the Fosmon case. Figured if I didn't like it, it's only $6!

Do you have link for this case?
I was asked to do a review of the Siedio Surface case I'm using, I don't have any pics yet though. I had the case a couple of days ago and just got the phone today at work so I was using it without the case at first and I thought it was to slick and I was afraid I was going to drop it, so when I got home I popped it into the case. I've had their case before and really liked it, my new one is the Amethyst color and I think it goes really well with the Pebble Blue phone. The fit is perfect!! The case has a coating on it, not sure what it's called, and it gives a lot more grip to the phone, but it's not so much that it becomes hard to get out of a pocket. It has a felt lining that keeps the back from getting scratched. It comes in 2 pieces that slide together and it feels very secure. The case extends over the edge so that there is a raised edge around the screen, I like this because sometimes I set the phone upside down, I know it's bad but it happens, this raised edge keeps the screen from contacting whatever it's sitting on. Hope this helps.
That was high on my list too, but opted for a little more protection.

That one's really nice too. I'd like to see actual user pics of the phone in the case! Might have to purchase this one as well.
I ordered one of these in black. Looks kinda like the iphone side band which is nice

Just a side note. When using the Otterbox Commuter, I've noticed that if I have to move icons from one home page to another, it can be hard because it seems as if the edge of the case gets in the way.
Same thing for if I want to copy text in an app, and thus need to get ALL of the word near the edge of the screen. Annoying at times really. Then again, I guess I could use landscape, but why?
If you have motion turned on you can just tilt it to move to another home screen when moving stuff.

Another thing, when you have it on it kind of feels like part of the phone, not an add-on case. It's looks and feels more just like just having a phone that was built with a quality case, rather than feeling like you wrapped it up. And even though it is truly only 1mm thick it seems to add quite a bit of sturdiness.
Actual edge-on view of S3 case.
Does it add a lot of bulk? I am trying to choose between the Seidio Surface and the Ringke slim.
Thanks!

I'd like to see a phone in it too (mine). I picked up the black one. It's plain in a clean, tight good way. It even has the cut out at the bottom of the home key, which most others do not seem to have.
It's a shame the pebble blue will never see the light of day (which is what I liked about the Fosmon), but at least it should be in a safe nest soon.
Those are 1 millimeter marks on the ruler. I don't know if I've seen slimmer.. also, makes it feel like a solid phone not a separate case. I didn't like how the ringke slim seems to leave the front exposed at top and bottom making it very vulnerable if dropped
