GS3 Help, Please

Okay, first off I have way too much phone with this GS3, so I apologize for that off the top. A friend of mine has an iphone ( I don't know which one) and he has a really neat thing on it. He can go to I guess you would call it a screen and it is blank. However if he touches different points on the screen it gives him access to folders that I guess are "hidden". Does the GS3 have this capability and if so how do I access it?

Thanks

Yes, there are plenty of apps in the android play store that have that feature... I'll see if I can dig up a few for you :)

Here is an article on some:

Thanks, so if I'm reading this correctly what I'm looking for is an app? I was under the impression that this was a function built into the iphone, cause he didn't open an app or anything, just hit a secret code on his screen, not numbers on a pad, just like a pattern in different corners and poof, it all appeared.

I appreciate the help so far, I'm trying to learn as best I can.

Yes, its an app, not a feature of the phone.
