Gs3 using less data than Droid X?

This seems a little weird. My cycle is June 26 - July 25. I got my Gs3 on July 9th. As of today at 5:30 I've used 3.61 GB.
I've never used less than 5 gb. Usually 6 or more.

Anyone else noticed they're using less after upgrading?

Data is the same regardless of the phone you're using. Visiting 9gag on the DX will use the same amount of data as 9gag on the S3. The only way your data consumption will change is by changing habits (used wifi more, etc.) Now, maybe the first month after an upgrade is a little different because of the upgrade. Especially if you changed from unlimited to that new Share everything plan. Changes in plan might have screwed up the data counter on MyVerizon. Wait until at least the second month of owning a new device before considering MyVerizon accurate.

Especially going from a 3G phone to a 4G phone, I am kind of thinking its just coincidence.

Yeah, I figured I'd use more with lte instead of 3g if anything. It's just funny how in the past I've tried hard to try to cut down on my data usage to see how low I could go and never got close to using less than 4gb. And now apparently I've done it without really trying, in a month where I got a new phone to play with which has lte.

I'll keep my eye on it next month.
