Help GS5 MMS receiving issues on AT&T

So I got the new phone in the mail and so far I am happy withe it. I hate the waterproof door for the charger and the charger not being micro USB and the port being on the bottom. Those are not a knock on the phone, just my personal preference. Anyways, I cannot view picture messages that are bigger than around 160 KB. I can get some tiny pictures, but as soon as it is over that size I have to forward them to my email then they open fine.. So really it seems to be an issue Displaying them in the MMS app. I can save the picture and it is fine. I tried AT&T tech support but they are clueless. Any ideas? I might download a different message program but I really like the stock one and wish it would work.

Did you care to give TEXTRA a chance ?

Point of information, you can use a micro USB charger. The charger included with the S5 seems to be some kind of dual device. But on the way home from AT&T, I was charging the phone with a conventional micro USB charger from an older phone.
