Lurker
Hi, in September I upgraded from my iPhone 4s (the worst phone in the world) to a gs7 edge. After doing a lot of research I concluded that it was my favorite phone. I got the phone from verizon. After about a month, it developed a pink line down the screen which I guess is a loose connection common on these phones, or so I've been told. So I had it replaced with a refurbished one from verizon, and this leads to my question.
I'm very new to android still, and while I've figured out how to use it for the most part, I don't know how to diagnose anything or what goes wrong with these phones. I got the replacement and about a couple weeks later it started to have problems. They include:
-random freezes/reboots (often happen 4-5 times in an hour, than disappear for a few days)
-poor wifi/data connection, random, but happens almost always with Bluetooth on, sometimes without
-screen won't rotate, can't adjust screen brightness at all until it's taken of auto
-adaptive sound never works
There's probably more symptoms I have of something, but since trying to completely restart it and factory reseting it, I don't see it worth it to use the phone fully. Is this common with these phones? When it's working well, it's easily the best phone I've ever used, at least for my taste. I don't want to give up on it, but nothing I do helps. Even verizon ran it through some of their tests and nothing showed up as malfunctioning.
