GSIII All Share not compatible with previous versions???

So I got the Galaxy S III and am trying to use the Allshare feature with my TV which is less than a year old, and I don't know if you have to buy a dongle or something for the GS3 or what, but I can't get my samsung with the Allshare feature to work with the phone. Anyone have any insight into how this is working. This smart phone is outsmarting me with the ridiculous amount of features that are packed into it.

There are several youtube videos people have done to show how to connect them. take a look at some and see if you can figure out what is not set right.

If allshare is on and your tv has it and you have wi-fi on to the network the tv is on they should be able to see each other.
