Upgrading from 3GS. Wanna pay up to 350
USA carrier is tmobile/straight talk.Africa is mtn Ghana.
Just want something better then my 3GS and unlocked thx in advance

If I'm reading this right - you just might need a phone that will work on TMO bands, and whatever bands straight talk Africa uses. Check the bands for both services.

There are posts that TMO is now starting to deploy the 1900 band.

Depends on what you want to do with the phone.

I've bought European phones and used them here. Service is either 2G, GRPS or Edge.
Since I'm not much of a data user outside of my own wifi, I don't care.

Try this and check with TMOUS. They have an online support forum. Someone at Howard Forums should know.

Alright I called da carrier in Africa they said any quadband unlocked should work.So what phone would u guys suggest?

Go handle the phones then Google for reviews if no on answers.
