I bought this Htc evo 3d from ebay.co.uk and it was unlocked to any network. and I live in Asia (sri Lanka). so when I got my phone I put my sim into it but no signal with the message Limited service. it has identified there's a sim but it didn't connect to the network . and even tried using a mico sim . but the same message. but after one day i saw the signal bar is full and even data was enable. I checked my account balance. gave a call. even messaged my friend without any an issue. (this happened like few times)but after a while I've notice the it was back to that state limited service. when I checked for network it gave me all the network available in our country. sometimes it wont even show the network list after searching for network for like 5 mins when i select the network . it says registering to the network and then the message pops up "your sim card does not allow you to connect to this network" i tried switching network mode from wcdma only gsm only and gsm/wcdma auto mode but no use. i asked from that ebay company that i bought it from . and they told me that it was tested with all the uk networks and and even they used the phone without any issues prior to sale . and they say it was a foreign sim compatibility issue . could any one pls tell me what'wrong with this.?? could anyone help me out ??
