Hi guys I'm looking to rooting my phone and i need to know what verison i have for the beta ket they are asking me if i have GSM or CDMA. also where in my phone do i find my HBoot verison?

What phone do you have? Depending on your phone and carrier it will determine if you are on GSM or CDMA. I assume you are using an HTC device. You can find your hboot version by powering off the phone and pressing volume down while powering back on. You will need to make sure you don't have any PGxxxx.zip files on the SD card however.
Edit: you more than likely don't have any update zips on the SD but if you do the phone will try to flash them that is why I added that little warning.
