GT-S5830i ?

Hi.

I had a Galaxy Ace GT-S5830 and it developed a spot on the camera!
It was returned and I was send a new phone, it is also a Galaxy Ace but the number is GT-S5830i, reason I noticed was the data connection on and off was missing from the power / lock key. The box says faster 832mHz cpu, is this a newer version of this GT-S5830?

Just curious :)

cheers, Rob

good news... :) we all GT-S5830 users were fighting for the 2.3.6 update thinking there is no model like GT-S5830i. Now we are clear that these are 2 different models and no update for the older version (GT-S5830) :(

It may just have been released last week, I bought the S5830 from a local Tesco store on contract it developed a camera fault after a week and they had none to replace it, so I got a refund and ordered a new one online, I noticed there were no screen slider buttons from standby and the camera had some new settings like preview etc, otherwise I cant see much difference!

cheers

I have read the the GT-S5830i has no 640x480 video recording option, I myself cant record in that resolution. Am I stuck with 320x240?
