GTA 3 on prime with ICS

Hi guys.

Wondered if anyone had got gta 3 from the market working on the prime with the ICS update?

Just force closes the program just after the loading bar finishes when you select start game for me.

So anyone had any luck with this or is it just incompatable at the moment?
 
Same problem for me. A little frustrating that apps I've bought and paid for won't work (Quickoffice Pro HD, GTA III, etc), but I'm sure developers will tweak them soon enough to be compatible. At least one can hope.
 
my prime has been restarted several time and ive tried 3 reinstalls, same issue every time....

will try once more from scratch and if it still fails i guess im going to have to wait for an update.

Strange to hear some work and some don't.
 
Yeah, I do find that quite odd. My ics prime seems to have no problem running the game. Did you possibly install the game after the ics update? I installed it while it was still running hc.
 
I Installed after the the ice update was playing it over HDMI last night. I cannot believe how fragmented this launch has been. I am on my second prime now with no issues. The first one went back to office depot and my buddy's is in Texas waiting for repair.
 
Hmm, I havn't tried GTA3 yet (will get to it soon).

I keep having crashes on Galaxy on Fire 2 THD... anyone else? Also another THD title seems to not load for me now most of the time (Dungeon Defenders: Second Wave)...

I have no problems running Galaxy on Fire 2 THD. I did have a few crashes but nothing that was too bad or frequent. Pretty addicting game too, I have about 10 hours logged lol

Maybe try a restart, I am not sure if clearing the cache or data will delete your savegame though but that might help as well..

Hmm... well, guess I can try reinstalling. Bleh. Basically it would load up, go into a small talk scene, and then the whole screen would start "blinking/banding/freeze" until I force quit the app. :(
 
hmm for some reason GTA 3 Started working for me yesterday evening...

Didn't do anything to it but im not going to complain.

I think the bigest issue I have with my prime at the moment Is trying to play flash video (in stock browser and dolphin HD). I stream video through megavideo, vimeo, yukou, speedy joe and reliable mirror, embedded in sites quite a lot and I can say its painful on my prime.

Full screen not working, not getting video, only audio when trying to skip to a specific part of what im streaming, and numerous major hangups that cause my Prime to reboot are what Im experiencing. Seriously hoping a flash update will fix this, and im guessing this is only a problem in ICS as on gingerbread on my phone all work fine.


Oh and my youtube app doesn't work at all, try and sellect a video in it and it will force close every time. (though not a massive issue as I just use the browser to get around it at the moment.

Any one else getting any of this?
