Can anyone explain me why i cant log in google talk in wifi mode? I can log in on Gatlk just throug 3g mode. Besides I can log in using a laptop on the same Wifi connection

Not sure.. I can log into my GTalk in wifi mode no problem so not a GTalk issue it seems (just tested it).

I can't log into gtalk using the wifi at the library. I can using a friends WiFi. I think it's to do with the WiFi settings, not the device.

I think the same for my problem too. I cant check now with my wifi net but I cant log into GTalk using at the university. By the way I think it's strange I can connect with my laptop and not with my mobile phone into GTalk.

it tall about changing the rules of router, but i cant at university. I think that it's the door of router the problem I couldnt connect in Gtalk through my laptop like i do

Yes, that Is what I was implying. Probably a firewall of some sort. Same as the library here. Can't change it.

and what about using some sw like pidgin or empathy in adroid version? Does anyone know about it? They use 8080 door, don't they?
