Help Gtalk

Hi,
I am online in gtalk but whenever i login it works fine. After few mins of time if i unlock my screen and open the gtalk. all contacts seems to be offline. If i sign off and sogn in immediately the list gets refreshed and shows online contacts. What is the problem and solution for this please?

Depends. If you are using data network and something like juicedefender to conserve battery, JD is probably closing your internet connection each time your screen turns off which then disconnects your connection to the gtalk server. The only way to maintain constant connection to GTalk is if you have your source of internet + background data on ALL the time.
