GTV with time warner box and navigating?

because originally I wantedgoogle tv because it seemed as if it just kinda overlayed or replaced my time warner cable box, so when I was browsing through the guide I would use google tv and the GTV (google tv lol) would pull channels from time warner and have their own guide layout,

but from what ive read it seems as if for browsing actual tv channels you basically still use your time warner layout and nothing google tv ish? that its more so for browsing internet stuff etc..?

because i want one bad, but only if its basically like my new set top box where I can browse my channels through a guide etc...

We are going to have to wait and see if someone bring that out. I'd wait for the FCC's ruling on cablecards in a week to see what comes of anything like that.
