I just got the update for lollipop on my note for for T Mobile and I always thought there was a guest mode available but I can't find the option to set it up can anyone help me?

I suppose your update is 5.0.1, while Samsung only included guest mode with the 5.1
You will need to wait for another update. For now the guest mode is for S6 and 6 edge only.
