Yea, but hopefully this fosters real people. Forums in general are hurting, and we have to try things to stay viable!

Amen, lol. Now NO guests are ever online at all. It's odd, but it speaks to SEO and how google prioritizes search results now.
Yes, yet I routinely--like daily--welcome new members. So maybe they're skipping the guest stage and just immediately signing up. Or something?
Ah, good old Google...and our love/hate relationship with them. If not for them, odds are great that we wouldn't be talking right now. (Can you imagine being an iPhone user? I can't!) But, damn, some of Google's practices suck!

I learned a lot from the forums, and like to think I helped a few along the way. Even with the many 'Guests'.
I will be honest and say I do not frequent, nor learn, as much since the major app overhaul a couple years back.
It made it harder to interact directly for specific problem solving, and thus I slowly drifted.
Still here but just not as often as I used to be. Which I admit is a shame; because I've learned so much from this group.

TBH i never use the app. i find it much easier to participate in this forum using the web browser, when i'm on my phone.
I don't use the app, preferring as @ocnbrze does to use a browser, even when on my phone. However, FWIW, I wasn't crazy about the site's overhaul awhile back.
It was when it changed to XenForo software, I believe. Something about its new look just didn't do it for me. Then I took a long, involuntary break--and when I came back, I was just so happy to be interacting with my AF family again, I didn't notice!
