Guide: easiest way to transfer media to your droid (wireless)

For those of you who have been looking for a good way to get media from your computer to your phone I think I've found it. I have played around with this for awhile and since I already had Frostwire this was just the icing on the cake.

Step 1:
If you don't have it already download Frostwire to your computer and let it sync all your media

Step 2:
Download Frostwire for your phone

Step 3:
Run Frostwire on your computer and simultaneously on you phone

Step 4:
Click the tab that says Phones/Tablets and you'll get a file explorer screen which allows you to access literally anything on your computer

Step 5:
Its as easy as drag and drop onto your phone which once connected is located at the top of the Frostwire window.

Not only is this quick, but for wireless its about as simple as it gets. I know this is kind of a simple guide, but the more I visit these forums the more I see some people need this. I hope this makes it easier for those who aren't familiar with droids or smart phones in general.

I was in the same boat man, I read the reviews last week and avoided the app until now. I don't use it to download anything I just use it as a gateway to get things from my laptop to my phone. Good luck!

I've given up on any kind of wireless xfer of files. it takes too long, imo. I just take the sd card out, esp since when I do need to move files it's usually several gigs of music.
if it's a small file I use astro bluetooth.

Estrong's File Explorer lets you don the same, but does not require you to run anything other than your existing network shares on the PC, as it automatically finds/maps all shared folders and PCs on your network.

I use this too, very simple.
