Root Guide needed to back up a stock rom so as to unbrick another handset

Hello,
Is it possible that some one could help me with the following issue;
I bricked a Orange Wildfire S 2.26.61.1 and did not have a back up. All available RUU's were of earlier versions and could not bring the handset back to life. I have got hold of another handset with the stock rom 2.26.61.1 so it is possible to take a back up of this and use it to flash the other handset back to life?

All advice gratefully accepted.

Many thanks

If you can boot to recovery - Power off, remove Battery for a few seconds, re-insert battery then power on while holding volume down - then you should install ClockworkMod recovery for the Wildfire S and install WildChild 3.3 custom ROM (It's based on Gingerbread 2.3.5) from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1842771

Please this thread : http://androidforums.com/wildfire-s-all-things-root/480954-guide-how-root-wildfire-s-s.html
a few times and make sure you understand every step before doing anything.
I've rooted 2 Wildfire S handsets using this guide, and both are now running the WildChild3 ROM. Last night the main one had 79.6 MB free with around 40 Apps installed and moved/linked to a 16GB SD card.

If you have any questions, please post in this sub-forum: Wildfire S - All Things Root - Android Forums and one of us will help you.
