Root Guide on how to safely undervolt?

skytbest

Newbie
I've been looking around for a guide on how to safely undervolt my droid 2 but I haven't been able to find any. If anyone could point me to one they know that would be great. Or if you could explain briefly how to undervolt that would be great. I know how to actually undervolt the phone, I'm just wondering if there are any limitations I should know about, or a certain number I should never go below, or what will happen if I go too low.

Thanks

Surprisingly I am on 1.3 ulv and stable for the half day so far. I did 1.35 ulv and that was fine too. No matter what voltage, 1.4+ don't work.

Hi,
It would be great to know what the actual voltages are for 1.3 and 1.35 at. Ulv levels.
Thanks,
Bryan

If you set your phone to ULV at 1.3 or 1.35, you can open your terminal, su, and cat /proc/overclock/mpu_opps. This will show you the CPU speed profiles, complete with vsel setting.
