guys, anyone know of a SD recovery tool?!

I know they exist, and im having serious issues. is there one made for our phones? I have a design for boost, and my 32gb SD card took a poo. ive been trying since last night to find something that I could use. I had mobile go back up my info, but for some reason when I look through the files I cant find the pics that I know were backed up. this is my main issue. the pictures. Mobile go was a temp lis, and now idk if its just hiding them to be a douche. does anyone know if theres a way from the corrupt file branch and getting to the pics?

My first advice to you is to keep the SD card unplugged and unused until you have a tool ready to use. Unlike spinning disk drives, RAM-based storage devices have built-in software (it's invisible to us) that can do stuff that you don't want to happen right now!

If it was my SD card, the very first thing I'd do is plug it into a Linux computer and do a full binary dump of the card's contents:

`dd if=/dev/sd? of=/mnt/some/safe/place/my_SD_card.raw' where "?" is the letter matching the SD card in the Linux system. If you know Linux or these are really important files, you might want to do that.

A Google search of "SD card file recovery" produced many helpful links, which no doubt you've done already. I can't recommend one program over any others. My main suggestion is to preserve the card's data as-is so that if one fails, you can go back and start over with another program.

my prefered choice is TestDisk Follow Speed's advice and do a data dump before messing with this program This is a powerful command line app. USE AT ONES OWN RISK. It has Linux support as well as Windows and Mac support.
