how to root this one guys please help!!! i used unrevoked but it says that my firmware is too new, i dont know to do!!!!some advice????

There has been a few threads on this. from memory, it is not the phone, but the drivers and/or apps installed on either the phone or PC. myphoneexplorer i think is a problem app
or you could use revolutionary..

I have the exact same config as Kall1as and the following Hboot info
BRAVO PVT4 SHIP S-ON
HBOOT 0.93.0001
MICROP-051D
Touch Panel SYNT0101
RADIO-5.11.05.27

What software do you recommend?
The root guide to 2.2.2 recoomends unrevoked but for ARA Build 2.XX.415 my desire isn't 2.XX.415 its 2.29.405 not sure if I should use the same or not...

@Kall1as did you eventually root yours...
 
Okay so did you know you have to S-OFF your device before you can root it?
Heres how you can S-OFF
if you have us-cellular or verizon, Select CDMA
If anything else, just select the regular htc desire option
