Help GV problem. Help?

I realize now that I wasn't receiving my Vm's because I keep my 3G connection off to save the horrible battery life on the DInc. Is it possible to bypass 3G or is it a must to have on all the time?

Also the transcriber sucks big time. VM's I get are not transcribed accurately at all. Most of them are unreadable. Some even put numbers for words! I mean cmon now.

I really like GV but these 2 things are starting to bug me. Any help out there?

i have this same problem. the transcribing problem doesnt bother me to much because its so easy to listen to the vm (although the sound quality is horrendous) but yesterday i got three voicemails about two hours after they were sent
