Mods Hack the signal strength [Root only]

Hi All,

I just want to check if there is a way to hack the signal strength and bring it from high to practically low signal / no signal.

There is a way to do this in iphone with developer options, but I am not able to test some applications with no signal network.

It may be possible depending on the phone. I have an lg motion and it has a hidden menu for altering the radio bands.

As far as I know, this really isn't currently any function of the default Android OS. This may change when Android "L" comes out.
