Help Hack to move apps to SD?

Is there are way I can hack my phone so I can move apps to the SD Card?

There are devs working on custom ROM and kernels first but nothing yet about apps to sd. Keep an eye out on SDX for more!

There is a thread about this starting to work but some bugs being worked out. I am hoping it works soon. My wife's 8gb sd card is a class 6 so absolutely no issues there. Just waiting to reformat it til I know it is all working.

Oh, it'll work if I have to fork the kernel myself. I've figured out how to do it and I'm trying to get ixane to respond, with a change that is needed in the init script. I can make the change and reinstall the kernel (which I have done to mine) but unless he incorporates the change, it won't persist across updates.

Can someone point me to the root? Oh and yes I am a newb in this.
