There are so many sketch looking apps installed on my phone after this "friend" of mine used my phone...device even rings and beeps quietly...I have found Webcrawler or watvr...now there r numerous alps mirroring..I'm att and something related to Verizon was on there...where do I even begin? Help!

I am not one to normally suggest doing this, but your best bet may be just to backup everything on the device that you know is yours, and then do a factory reset.
This will wipe out everything, and bring the device back to how it was when it was first purchased.

also setup two step verifications on all of your accounts that are on your phone, where applicable.

hard reset. I don't think anything else will help you . You will not be sure that all the malicious files you have deleted, if you do not make hard reset
