Hacking a droid eris out of a data plan

have a droid eris but don't want to pay or need to have a data plan. So I am trying to find a way to hack the phone or my account so don't need to pay for a data plan. If anyone knows any way to get around this data plan it would be tremedously helpful. Post please, thanks!

Sorry there is no realistic way. Verizon does not use SIM cards but ESN numbers which are embedded into the phone.
