Root Half Ass Rom custom boot

I am new to rooting so please bear with me.
Is it possible to run a custom boot animation with Half Ass rom ?.
I recently followed the rooting the prevail for dummies guide and it worked like a charm.
Since then I have run CT Mod 3.75 and CT Mod 3.8 and was able to change the boot animation with both but I have had no luck at all with Half Ass rom.
I just get the blue Android boot logo no matter what I try.
I have searched Google and Android Forums many times but haven't found anything that worked yet.
I would like to say a big thanks to everyone involved in making custom roms and kernels and all those who contribute here.
Through this forum I have transformed my Prevail into a really cool phone and even have it running Flash.

You would have to use something like apk tool and take out that one and put a new one in its place. You would have to extract things and do the changes on a pc and then put back on phone. Someone else might know an easier way.

It's strange because the bootani.qmg and samsungani.qmg are both in the system/media folder but they don't play when the phone boots either.
The usual Samsung boot logo doesn't load while the phone starts up just a plain blue Android boot logo I hadn't seen before.
I'm guessing the Half Ass Rom strips the Samsung boot animations and logo out so would there be a particular file or apk I replace to reenable boot animations ?.
 
Kouma is the one who made that. You might want to pm him and ask him where he put it and how he did it. Then you can change it yourself.:D
