Halfway decent vacuum

What's a good bagless one that can handle pet hair? Onboard tools would be nice. I could spend maybe $100. I know most would probably cost more than that, though.

Ha ha, that's great. Yeah, I guess I am. The old one keeps getting clogged and I've run out of bags for it. It's a Bissell Powerforce, 12 amps, heavy and with a handle that keeps coming loose.

I have a Dyson that I need to tear down and clean/fix/change parts on. It's great but they are expensive. I also have a Shark and it's surprisingly good (honestly don't recall what I paid for either). Look at the Sharks for sure.

I have 2 dogs so yeah...

I haven't gone with anything yet. I'm still waiting while I get other stuff done. In the end it'll probably be either a dirt devil or a shark.

About 6 or 7 years ago. We invested in a Miele vacuum cleaner. Cost us $600. It was a floor model the shop gave us a $50 discount, vacuum is still going strong :thumbsupdroid:

This thread got me thinking, recently my wife's aunt had to be placed in a long term care facility :(
She's in her 70's and is the early stages dementia . Her house which she hadn't live in for almost two years was recently sold, a vast majority of her belongings were donated to goodwill. She had a Kirby vacuum that her late husband had bought her in the 70's or 80's , they never bought another vacuum, wonder what happened to it???
