Halo 4

I think the graphics on Halo 4 are amazing, I was blown away. A definite improvement over Halo 3, even Halo Reach.

I did find the story to be short though? As in, my partner and I have played Halo 3, ODST, Reach and now this in co-op and this was the only Halo game we completed in 2 days. Where as the others took us longer. Or maybe we just enjoyed it more so played longer, idk. We did four missions, then went to do the other four the next day and it didn't save properly so we ended up doing the 4th one over, so did five the next day.

Online is pretty good as well. Definitely an element of Call of Duty but, it's good. Love playing the Flood.

In comparison, Black Ops 2 doesn't seem to have changed/been improved where as Halo 4, wow the change was impressive! Gotta clean some litter trays, then going to shove Halo 4 in for some multiplayer :).
 
I guess the campaign is a little short, but thats par for the course nowadays. I show 11h 50m on campaign but that would include redoing some missions. Thats fine, its quality stuff.

Have you guys gotten into Spartan Ops yet? I would like to find a group to do these.
 
I've been doing them on my own, they're sort of easy because you have unlimited attempts and when you respawn, it's pretty much where you left off.

I'm sort of busy for the next few days, but drop me a PM with your gamertag if you want, see if we can arrange something.
 
I've reached level 49 and I'm almost going to be 50 here. Can't wait to choose a specialization. :D Also my friend is dying for them to add a snipers playlist and it's good that they've added SWAT. Anybody play Flood? I like it, but sometimes it ends too quick.
 
I'm only a 21 at the moment but I've not played much. Now that I've found my feet and I'm playing regularly, I'll probably rank up relatively quickly, I went up about 8 ranks yesterday. I started the day off brilliantly, but my last couple of games were shocking and my k/d ratio was taking a massive hit so I decided to call it a day.
 
I hear ya man, sometimes I have games where I do well either. :(
Right now I reached level 53 and unlocked my first specialization called wetwork. I know I'm going to love that one. ;)

Wetwork is a specialization that you can choose once you hit level 50.
Like the other specializations it come with new armor, emblems, a custom weapon skin, and a special support ability. Wetworks makes your footsteps much quieter, quicker assassinations, and makes you much harder to spot on Promethean vision. Like I said, I am going to like it. :D

I enjoy that and slayer pro or SWAT. Flood is fun, but it ends too quickly sometimes, I wish it had more rounds. Spartan ops is fun too, but also too short IMO.
 
Anyone else hate joining games in progress? It's so annoying and it takes the fun out of the times when you won a 2v4
 
I borrowed it from my friend who recently beat the game and was likely going to trade it in. My original idea was to just play out the campaign like I typically do, but I found myself playing online since I had no one to play the campaign with. For the first time in such a long time, I am actually enjoying Halo MP. They made some great changes to make the mode appeal to a larger body of players. In any event, I wouldn't spend $65 on it, but if it ever went on sale for about $40, I might invest in it.
 
Solace is possible the worst Multiplayer map on any Halo game, it's terrible. It's worse than Reflection on Reach.

Also, anyone else think Blue team has an advantage on Haven? It's a great map, but the colour scheme gives Blue the edge I think.

Yeah, I'm not really moved by computer games but given her deterioration through the game and how desperate you see Chief getting towards the end, it is kinda sad.

When Cortana says "I'm not coming with you this time", then the utter disbelief in Chiefs response, that cut me a little deep. :(

Do you mean as in its easier to spot a red ?



I think some of the maps are great. I think the game play is great. I'm just not fond of ordinance drops or mid game joining. I guess there's always slayer pro but there's too much camping. Seeing the replays after the game is irritating.

Aye, much easier to spot the reds. Regardless of team though, I still think it's my favourite map.

I've only really played a small amount of Slayer, once I saw the Swat Playlist, I've pretty much played that and that alone so I've not really seen much of the ordnance drops and any of the other fancy stuff.
