H.A.L.T = Heighten Android Limitation Techniques
Halt is one of the first apps to hit the market that provides installation blocking security. With the ever increasing occurrences of spyware and unwanted app installation appearing on user's phones, H.A.L.T gives you the edge you need to stop this. Working beneath the surface, H.A.L.T will monitor your phone. If an installation attempt is detected, the user will need to enter a password to continue. If by chance a malicious user guesses your password to install an app, H.A.L.T also provides a list of installed apps on your phone. If an app is installed after your inoculation date(first installation of HALT) those items will show up on your list in red and clearly marked.
This installation blocker is perfect for:
Protecting yourself from the installation of GPS spyware that others can use to know your whereabouts.
Great for companies who issue smart phones to their employees. Prevent them from installing games and apps that will eat up your bandwidth.
If you have a family plan with data limits, keep your kids from driving up your monthly bandwidth fees with costly large app file downloads.
