Handcent contact issue

I've looked at other threads and can't see this issue as of yet.

I'm running the latest version of Handcent and Go Contacts Ex (GCE). I like GCE because it lets me search for my contacts better than the stock contact app. GCE and Go Dialer are set to be the default

All was well before I rooted and installed CM7 on my phone. Now when I go to use Handcent and select the + in the right hand corner it shows the stock contact list. Is there any way to get Handcent to see GCE? If not I'll switch to Go SMS Pro as it does not have this issue.

Yeah, it appears that a conflict was introduced when you put CM7 in the system.. not truly "broken," just a conflict of data paths via menu links here and there.

Sounds smart to go with the Pro version of Go SMS, as you say.
