Help Handcent contact pictures

Please use the search option. This problem has been discussed in this thread (Support GoSMS Picture Problem on ICS).
In short ICS upgrade has somehow changed the contacts pictures api.
The contacts pictures are visible on the default sms client but not on the handcent sms client (or in the goSMS client as discussed in the other thread, or any other third party sms app).
Only manually added contacts pictures are shown in third party apps. (the one contact you can see must have been manually added by you)
