Handcent deleting texts. Only keeps 10, checked settings

Basically it is deleting my oldest text from the particular person when I receive a new text from said person. Seems 10 texts is the threshold. I didn't make any changes and this started occurring.

Two things you need to check:

1. In Messaging check to make sure it is not set up to delete old messages.
2. Check if Handcent is not set to show the 'Show Earlier Button' under Settings>Custom style>Bubble Settings>>Others.

I didn't find where to set it not to delete old messages. However the texts that are being deleted could be 5 minutes old. If I get 11 texts in 2 minutes the first one I the group will be displayed.

Thank you very much. Seemed that setting is in the oem text program. Never thought to look there. NOW I need to get the led to work again.
