Handcent issue

[zafonic]

My partner has just got herself a San Francisco 2, but appears to have an issue with handcent. When she receives a message she gets the handcent icon shows up on the notification bar.

In handcent settings (privacy mode is ticked) which shouldn't show message content in notification bar, but it does. We have looked through all the handcent settings but cannot find find any other option to solve this.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Try using Go SMS Pro. Much the same features as Handcent anyway. In my experience, just use one or the other as they have issues on random phone models, but its rare that both will wonk out.
