Handcent + Launcher Pro

I know I can replace the Android Messenging App icon on Launcher Pro's dock with Handcent SMS.

But is there anyway to get the unread message count bubble's to appear when I change that dock icon to Handcent SMS?

Does Launcher Pro let you put a widget as an icon on the dock?

I guess a better way would be to set the default Messaging icon to load Handcent. So I can keep the default icon on dock with bubbles, but have it load Handcent when I open it.

yes. i have mine set up that way.

Simply set the shortcut to Handcent and choose default Messaging icon from Launcher Pro while setting up the shortcut and the notification will work. No need for any additional apps or widgets.

There are settings in LaucherPro to show unread messages.
