handcent notification problem

i m using samsung ace. i installed Handcrnt sms a week ago. the problem is that when i change my notification sound it changes but if the pop up is on it does not.

I've set my sound to a mp3 file called recieved. but when ever the popup appears it plays the "tinkerbell" file. I've checked every possible thing.

if i diasble tne popup it plays 'recieved' but if lop up is enabled it plays 'tinkerbell '

help .... i want my pop ups and with recieved.mp3

Handcent has been buggy as hell lately. At least your notifications work: first my LED notifications stopped working, and then the audible notifications altogether. And judging by the comments in the market, there's been widespread glitches like crazy that they don't seem to be fixing.

Switch to Go SMS Pro or a different app. Believe me, it's gotten to the point where it isn't worth it anymore to try and flog a dead horse.
