Help handcent SMS all of the sudden lagging

what should I do i turned the phone on and off and it didn't help... this one app is lagging bad

uninstall and reinstall? Swype is giving me problems and I have no idea what to do.

Do you have a ton of threads opened. Maybe delete some old text message? or clear your phones cache.
