Handscent Problem?

After a few coworkers made comments about me not responding to their text messages this weekend, I took a look at my phone and realized that while I've been able receive texts, I haven't been able to send them out. The messages are there, but on the right side of each one is an icon that resembles a scrolling circle (like the windows version of the hourglass).

I've tried force closing the program, turning my phone off, airplane mode, and deleting the message and redoing it. I updated Handscent today with their update, thinking maybe that was the issue, but nope. Nothing is rectifying this.

Any ideas on how to fix it? Anyone else have the same problem?

i get the same problem sometimes. might be low signal or something. not really sure how to solve it. but even if the "sending" symbol appears, and stays, it should still be sent despite the symbol still showing. i sent a few messages that i kinda ddnt want to send after i sent them and the symbol was still there. so i thought deleting it would stop it but it still is sent..

Just a thought but try disabling/deselecting Handcent and use your stock messaging application for awhile to ascertain whether this is in fact a Handcent or service provider/signal problem.

i could be wrong but i think there is an option to automatically retry if sending fails. you probably have this option disabled, and then when it doesnt send, it doesnt try to send it again. worth checking out.

ive moved from this to GO SMS. nearly exactly the same only looks better imo.
