handwriting to text on Verizon note 2?

Where is the button to allow hand writing to text? In the note application there is the box to do either text with the keyboard OR handwriting. There is no icon for hand to text.

In an S-note, long press the productivity tools icon (looks like a square with a triangle and circle in it) and then select the Handwriting to text button. (square with a T in it).
You can bring up the tutorial when in S-note by hitting the menu button and scrolling down a bit.

New User of the Galaxy Note 2. Can anyone (pleassse) tell me how to reactivate the productivity tools so the icon will appear (again) on the S-Note page? I've turned off the handwriting to text feature while fiddling with the settings and I can't figure out how to reactivate it.

And you haven't changed keyboards? Still using the Samsung Keyboard?
