Handy search feature... Is this new?

So I just realized this by accident yesterday. I have be a android power user since the Droid and I always found the search suggestions - as you type - helpful for finding previously searched things. But I always hated that I could't start typing, select a previous term, and keep editing. It would hop to the search term immediately.

Now they added those arrows that bring that search term to the bar and let you edit it before submitting. Is this new or have I been completely oblivious?

Good on them for adding that feature regardless.

Yup new feature for ICS and Google just updated the 2.2 and 2.3 Search apps with the same feature. Such a simple yet brilliant idea.

If it was I didn't notice it and there was an article on one of the android sites saying it was a new feature. Well I learned something new today. LOL.
