Help hanging up in browser.

Ok, here is my problem. It seems that every once in a while my phone will hang up for about 10-20 seconds at the google search screen. It's not the end of the world but it gets a bit irritating at times. Is there a way to fix this problem or is it just something I have to deal with?

Never had that problem before. It maybe due to a lot of background activity such as widgets and other apps running.

That was it I think. Holy crap there is a bunch of junk running. I may have to root.
